Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable Spare Parts Stock-Keeper to manage our inventory of spare parts. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining inventory levels, ensuring accuracy, and providing timely support to the maintenance team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming spare parts shipments.
- Organize and store spare parts in designated locations.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and perform regular stock audits.
- Monitor inventory levels and reorder parts as necessary.
- Prepare and issue spare parts to maintenance personnel as requested.
- Coordinate with suppliers for part orders and deliveries.
- Manage inventory documentation and update the inventory management system.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Assist in the preparation of inventory reports.
- Handle any discrepancies in inventory and resolve issues promptly.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training is a plus.
- 2+ years of experience in inventory management or a related role.
- Knowledge of inventory control procedures and systems.
- Proficiency in using inventory management software.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to lift and move heavy items as required.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
